Opal Suites - 77720 Playa del Carmen

Beautiful modern rooms. Floors a bit dirty but they swept it, although we would've preferred mop. Office to help with transport and areas of interest, very useful. Steam room and room in rooftop, and BBQ. Made good use of this. 5 minutes to supermarkets.

It was booked on Priceline/booking and there was no disclosure. You are a scammer. Everyone knows you are a scammer. Your excuse was that that the rate was so low...just charge it upfront not after the fact Scam slumlord This is your first real review! Your others look fake

Excellent value for the money. Very Modern, spacious, nicely laid out and decently equipped Apt. Great A/C and fast internet. Nice roof deck with pool. Friendly service. 5 blocks from the beach. 3 blocks from 5th Avenue. Restaurants, Supermarkets, Gas station, Laundry in house and around the block. Mattress in 302 is hard like a rock. That's the only downside.

The room is big, clean and the location is so close to the bar street and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. The guy at front desk is so nice and friendly. One thing I really don’t like is the housekeeper moved around ALL my stuff. My charger was unplugged and moved to the corner on the table. I brought two suitcases with me, and they were moved into different cabinets. Why touch and move my things? When I came back to the room and I was panic - all my stuff was gone and I thought we were robbed. This experience was so bad and housekeeper should NEVER touch any customer’s personal belongings. Be more professional, please!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel - it far, far exceeded our expectations and was the optimal place for us to stay for our three nights in Playa Del Carmen. The Concierge was incredibly nice and helped us get our bags to our room (and didn't expect a tip for it!). The condo was incredible - I honestly could see myself living in it if given the opportunity. The TV was a smart TV, we had a full kitchen, it was stocked with a drinking water keg, we had a small terrace, the bed was massive and it even came with a couch to comfortably watch tv. We were able to use the laundry facilities located on the rooftop and while I waited for my laundry, I was able to swim in the pool and work out in the gym. The hotel was within a very short walking distance to an OXXO and multiple delicious restaurants with easy road access to the highway. I would absolutely recommend for you to stay in this hotel - you will love it!

Sadly we didn’t have a good experience in the apartment we rent: Good: The location is great. It’s a few blocks away from the Quinta Avenida. The beds are comfortable Ones you make the reservation you always have someone looking after you. Quick response time Bad: It’s important to mention they charge you for the electricity you use to turn on the bathroom light or bedroom light. The apartment wasn’t clean properly The furniture is simple and run down. The WiFi is so bad that you can not use your phone and Netflix at the same time. They don’t provide cable or an account to use Netflix in the only TV they have in the living area. It need more attention and a little investment from the owners to make the place a better option

Had a very nice stay here. Very clean, safe. Communication was easy. Early check in. Only wish we had a room with a view - ours just looked to the inside of the building.

Disappointed and no service at the location!!!! Check in should be at 4PM and the room was not ready until 6PM. Nobody spoke english there and under the contact number nobody was available for two days. There should be an air condition but in my room the air condition was not available and at check out the employee said the company already transfered a fee back cause the air condtion didnt worked but this never happened.
