Quoted a price for new lenses by email. When I went to the shop the old proprietor wanted to change me double, with the lame excuse that his son had mistakenly quoted for only one lens. Needless to say I expressed my annoyance and left. Later I received an email later from his daughter offering to honor the original quote. I wouldn't go back on principle. I do not like being ripped off just because I am a tourist. Later, I got the lenses replaced at another optician for a cheaper price than the original quote.

The most positive experience we ever had yet. After calling around to check prices and reading the reviews, we decided to give this place a try. Right away, they informed us over the phone of their Covid protocols which allowed us to feel safe and comfortable about making an appointment. You do have to enter a building and walk through a courtyard to find the office. Once you arrive, Dr. Alberto and his staff immediately gives you all their attention. They were very attentive to the details about their recommendation for the prescriptions. At first, we just went for an eye exam but afterwards, we realized how terrific the experience was that we decided we wanted them to handle our prescription. That's a sign of an excellent service. From the beginning, the office was very helpful. I had a few questions, which I asked through Facebook and they answered all of them. The doctor and his staff were wonderful and very attentive. They made us feel like family. They even had multiple frames shipped to the office so I could make sure I picked the exact ones I wanted. I've had my glasses for a month now and I love them. I definitely recommend them for all your optical needs. -Vicky
