★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop, Óptica Santa Lucía, a place to get your eyes checked and buy glasses, a place where out front you can buy almost anything from street vendors, some stationary, others in movement, has an interesting wheelchair ramp right outside its door. (I photographed this ramp and, now a month later, Google tells me I took the photo right here.)
Mexico has some of the world's most interesting wheelchair ramps. They seem often, as art, to be less realistic representations than fuzzy impressions or even abstract representations of what a ramp might look like and how such ramps could be designed if the handicapped were otherwise super heroes.
