Loved it! Excellent service, tasty food, beautiful presentation, nice setting. And unbelievably reasonable price! Their wine selection was impeccable. We would be willing to return to Tequisquiapan just to go to this restaurant again!

Origines is by far the best restaurant in the sleepy "pueblo magico" Tequisquiapan. In fact, it can compete easily with the best restaurants in Mexico City. The atmosphere is wonderful: the tables are set in a charming and tranquil inside open air patio filled with plants. In unlikely case that the weather is chilly, there are also some tables and a bar inside in the equally charming building. The flavor and the presentation of the food are just amazing. The extensive menu offers a large selection of Mediterranean influenced dishes, and there are always specials as well (which is very nice when you come back often, as we do). There is an extensive wine list with both Mexican and international wines as well a decent selection of delicious cocktails. You can buy wines and meat wares to take home at the on-site vinoteca and charcuterie. The service from the Spanish owner Albert (who speaks excellent English) and the rest of the staff is super attentive and friendly. Prices are unbelievably reasonable for what you get. We stayed about two months in Tequisquiapan; Origines was our favorite restaurant and we came back often.

It’s a little hot in there in summer like these days. The food is so so and the place is a little bit crowded. Needed some privacy.

Incredible ambience and service! We were impressed with all options including vegan, and vegetarian options. The bilingual chef is welcoming and knowledgeable about regional and foreign specialties. Nice spaces to enjoy a cup of wine and full service tables for dining. Not to be missed! Thank you Origens!

More than 5 stars. Albert is always welcoming you warmingly. Origens's food is amazing that you can live as an experience. We have seen them growing up and never loosing their quality. Bravo Chef!!!!

Wonderful little restaurant close to the center of town in Tequisquiapan. The chef is super friendly, came to the table and offered my kids some simple off menu items and explained the specials. Food was very good and wine selection was great

Amazing food, the ingredients are all fresh & the chef is great with flavors. We wanted to order everything, and our meal was delicious !!! Ambiance is relaxing from the music, the garden, to the great service from all the staff. A gem indeed, totally worth stopping by.

Delicious!!! We were walking around and accidentaly saw this place. So we decided to stop there. The place was nice, comfortable. Amazing architecture with stone walls and ambience is fulfill with amazing plants in the garden all over and nice lighting Food was BEYOOOND exceptional,excellent service. Really delightful food, textures, colors, We'll be back for sure… The pricing is excellent for the quality and the whole experience there. Nice place for having dates, going with family and friends, and also for job dinners. oh by the way, When the weather is changing and it’s getting cold outside they just give you some blankets so you can stay warm ?✨
