Ł	Łukasz Jocz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our room was dirty, there were a lot of insects and bugs, WiFi often didn't work at all or was very slow, staff wasn't very helpful, interior of the restaurant part felt very creepy (a lot of skulls etc). On the other hand pubic toilets were clean and there was a chilled-out atmosphere. Maybe it's a nice place for people smoking weed (you can smell it for most of the time), otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

Many hostels does not manage to create that communal feeling, but Osa Mariposa manages. There are communal dinners, birthday parties, movie nights and all the staff I've met are so chilled out.

The place is well maintained by the owner and the employees, charley is an American guy who is the owner of this place, he will welcome you with much live and respect, everything is clean, the price is fair, the kitchen is perfect. The room has good beds, a place for youre clothes, and everything is super clean and new. Carmen and erick maintain the place with a smile and a good talk, if you look for a place to settle in puerto, thats the place. Also one night is perfect, but be careful! This place is addictive.
