We were wrong!!! We ordered the meatballs (you only get 3!), the parmigiana melanzane, pizza margarita and pizza Barocca (barely any toppings!) for appetizers; overpriced but decent. For main courses we ordered the steak and polpo. The steak was bland and overcooked and the polpo was burnt to a crisp… literally! The tips of the polpe was rock hard and inedible. The polpo was also over salted, the parts that were chewable were over seasoned and left me extremely thirsty. We ordered a bottle of wine, the drinks are pricy and looked bland/boring. We spent over $2,000pesos for a terrible dinner… that is a TERRIBLE feeling! There are many other restaurants with amazing food in PM, don’t chance your evening and hard earned money at this tourist trap.

Nice choices for good Italian wine (and others) and lots of locally sourced dishes on the menu prepared with Italian flair. I’m gluten and dairy free and they were even willing and able to accommodate that with an inventive and delicious dish of fish filet perched atop grilled vegetables with capers and cherry tomatoes. Divine! The owner is often present and with the quality of food and staff, it shows!

The steak I ordered medium rear was well done and tasted like cardboard, extremely dry with no flavor. My wife ordered the octopus and it was over cooked and flavorless. The pizza we ordered was supposed to have prosciutto and fig, it had a few pieces of each making it basically a cheese pizza and extremely dissapointing. To add insult to injury, the prices are like in America and not Mexico, very expensive. My advice, don't waste your money on this restaurant.
