I let a few days pass to be able to objectively comment here on how important it was to be in the hands of Dr. Oscar Calderón as a result of what happened to me. A month ago I started to feel a strong pain in my throat. At first I thought it was a sore throat. I asked for the recommendation of an Otorhinolaryngologist and several friends sent me to Oscar. In consultation with him, it turned out that he was facing a major problem, even a serious one: an abscess in the pharynx resulting from a bacterium, which was generating a strong infection in the throat with obstruction of the respiratory tract. From this moment on, I no longer left the hospital where I stayed for 7 days. During all this time, the care, attention, information and, in general, the treatment provided by Oscar was from someone absolutely professional. His objectivity and his transparency in the information, in addition to the way in which he takes you through what happens, gave me the peace of mind to be able to face what was happening to me without fear and with strength. We tried to get rid of the problem with antibiotics but in the end it was impossible, the infection grew a lot and I had to have an emergency operation to eliminate the infection. The operation was endoscopy (through the mouth), without the need to open through the neck. Oscar is one of the doctors in Mexico with the most experience in this type of procedure. I really recommend Oscar for any issue related to the specialty of Otolaryngology, he was someone with whom I felt very sure of the decisions to be made at all times.
