Outstanding restaurant! Great service, great setting and entertainment, excellent food - one of the best steaks in recent memory for dinner and a perfectly prepared omelette for breakfast. Owner/singer Gabby and server Jude provided amazing service. Don't miss it while in Ajijic!

We had a Dinner reservation for 9:00pm, we sat there for 25 minutes and nobody even took an order, even for drinks. I had to find someone and ask if anyone was going to help us. It wasn't busy and all the tables there had already been served there food and drinks before we even arrived.

It started out promising, We should have left after appetizer . The Coq au Vin blanc was just a chicken leg quarter cooked well but not much meat on a leg quarter for 600 pesos. The shrimp bisque soup had nary a shrimp in sight. The fillet mignon looked to be boiled then put in a panini press to add the grill marks. It was grey through and through, very tough to cut and chew. Not the medium cook on it I ordered at all. The second fillet was EXACTLY the same! So I showed the waiter a picture of what it should look like and declined another fix. I just couldn't be an accomplice to another atrocity. After asking for the check 4 times they finally brought it with a charge for a fillet on it! After straightening that out the lady in charge wanted to argue about me declining to leave a tip! I CAN NOT recommend this restaurant. It should be named non non. I was never offered a chance to pick something different from the menu at any time. And don't ask customers how they want their steak cooked if you only offer it one way. By the way, my husband was never given his dessert even though we waited 15 minutes for the check after asking for it 4 times.

We love Qui Qui!!! The owners Yaan & Gaby are just amazing people. The atmosphere is wonderful. The food is very good quality and taste so good. You must give this place a try and you too will become regulars.

Today they started a new Sunday brunch, fixed price menu which included a fruit plate with yogurt and granola, coffee or tea and a mimosa plus your main course. Very delicious quiche and English-speaking wait staff was very attentive. A great destination for your out-of-town guests to come and enjoy great food, ambience and live music.

I had great expectations, but they did not even meet the bare minimum. It took about 25min to finally get our drinks, which were simply a Diet Coke and a lemonade. We had to remind them twice, and still took another 10min to get them, and to top it all off they got them wrong (lol) so we asked to take one back and bring what we ordered. I should mention we were there on a Monday in the middle of the afternoon, and there were only 4 other tables taken, 10-12 people all together. They were all there already when got there. Our salads were much smaller than what you get in other places in town, nothing to write home about, they were also pricey. Not worth the wait, not worth the money. Go somewhere else, plenty of options around. I cannot recommend this place.

A 5 star experience for us ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ We went on a Monday night to avoid traffic! We had the royal pizza . Absolutely the best ? pizza we ever ate. The white cream sauce on it was delicious.. we received wonderful service from Gabby . The ambiance was romantic.
