Staying at Sun Palace and everything here is 1/3 the price of the hotel shop and they take credit cards with chip technology. Bought sunblock and toiletries. ??

I bought a 4.5gb card SIM/Internet there (Telcel) but the shop assistant only “registered” the card for 1gb so it stopped working. At the Telcel customer service hotline they told me that I would need to go back to that very shop to argue (I was already elsewhere) and proposed to buy a new package…

You can find mostly what you need. 6packs 1L water with discount is only 26 pesos. Baby food is around 12pesos per pack. Baby wipes is extremely expensive… double price than soriana.

They sell small selection of beer, wine, hard ciders and seltzer, no liquor. Bring your own grocery bags because they dont have any. You can buy a cloth bag for about .50 cents. Friendly staff (they only speak spanish) and customers. Plenty of water for sale in large and small containers. The nut selection is great! and the Pake Tako chip snack is a must! This OXXO is smaller than others so the selection is smaller.

A great 24 hour convenient store for people in nearby hotels. You should find many things you might need here. The problem was they had no bags when I came and I bought a handful of items, so I had to hand carry them after purchase. So you might need to bring a bag with you here.

Please be careful, this is place where people work to cheat and take advantage of you. Better not to buy a phone card here, but if you have to do it like me, because you live in the hotel next door, be prepared for a lot of nerves. On the first day, the female employee did not want to sell me the package that I wanted because she did not. Additionally, she stated that I have to pay in cash and will not accept the card. In many internet forums people describe similar situations and it means that someone wants to cheat you and you can pay by card. After a long argument, she did not change her mind. On the second day, the employee did not have a problem with paying by a card for a phone card, but he also did not want to sell me this package, which I want. He want me sell more expensive package. In addition, he tried to get me 2 additional packages of $ 150 each on my receipt! This was not a coincidence, they are just trying to trick tourists here.

Store seems always busy, but that's the area. Small but acceptable collection of snacks inside, they also have sunscreen at a decent price which I'm very thankful for. They have a great selection of drinks (I only checked non-alcoholic), I mostly come here for water and pop. The employees can deal with English-speaking customers, although they don't seem to like tourists too much, as when they hand the change they consistently have an almost scowl on their face, and do it in a way that just seems like they aren't too fond. Not a huge complaint though, all-in-all, if you need a drink or a quick snack, this place is decent. If coming from the Solymar Hotel, like I did, Go Mart in the other direction (7 minute walk from hotel) has a better selection
