Agendamos en lunes de último momento y obtuvimos un excelente precio, la habitación triple estaba excelente y el lugar es muy bello, tranquilo y lleno de vegetación. El único problema fue que ya no tenían cervezas en el lugar.
We scheduled last minute Monday and got an excellent price, the triple room was excellent and the place is very beautiful, quiet and full of greenery. The only problem was that they no longer had beers on site.

The place is very nice, comfortable but the bathroom in the room was in chaos. The shower was a bit dirty and the hot water took forever, over an hour to come out. Despite the fact that the area is very quiet in the room that we had, the sounds from the outside were too heard, some guests were talking outside until 1 am and we could not rest. In the same way, the noise of cars was heard a lot as the street was cobbled.

Un hermoso lugar para hospedarte si quieres sentirte lejos del bullicio de la ciudades, la habitación que nos tocó estaba muy pequeña, pero era suficiente para nosotros 2 y esta muy cerca de la cascada de texolo
A beautiful place to stay if you want to feel away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, the room that we had was very small, but it was enough for the 2 of us and it is very close to the Texolo waterfall

I cannot recommend this place. It's so overpriced for the area but down this long rocky unpaved road so by the time you get there you just keep the room no matter what. It's like 100 degrees plus in the room, no cross ventilation (I was there in MARCH) the girl at the desk said it cools down a lot at night...and it does, but the rock and tile construction of this roof and one teeny window and no fan or AC keeps this like a sauna all night. I told the front desk immediately that I wouldn't be staying a second night and me and the rest of the sweaty guests laid on our floors all night with the door open or on the patio and got eaten by mosquitoes. The front desk said they couldn't cancel and couldn't refund and that the corporate office would have to do it the following week blah blah. They did nothing. So I have a $100 charge that I have to dispute with my bank while I'm traveling. The corporate office was SO RUDE it was nuts. They want my bank and routing info over WhatsApp to void a transaction. Nope. Said they were "trying" to give me a refund but couldn't do it on the card I used so too bad. It's 2021 and there are hundreds of ways to pay and tfer money today via email. I'm not tryna get a wire transfer from Mexico for $45. Just use zelle or paypal or anything. I still haven't been refunded for the night I didn't stay. They charge $40 for the hot box room and $5 for my dog. the shower head is literally the size of my finger. The bed is a rock, there is ONE plug in the whole room and it's on the wall above the "TV" thing. Just a ridiculous set up for what could be a cute place. It's about $15us worthy with so many options in the area and at post pandemia pricing, OYO is a last resort. The kitchen is only open for breakfast and only if/when the cook shows up. There is no other food in the area. We all ate potato chips on a Saturday night for dinner from a local run down poorly stocked tienda. If you're going to the cascadas just get a taxi and go to Coatepec and get a decent room and meal for about $29. I ended up getting a sweet Airbnb in La Pitahaya for $17 on the river on a private hacienda.

we called and asked if there were any vacant rooms. We were told that there are. But when we arrived, everything was busy. A standard room is a small room with a bed and a wardrobe, there is nothing else. There is only soap in the room. And the window of the room is directly opposite table where breakfast is served in the morning. A lot of noise. On the second floor, lovely rooms, the hotel is clean and beautiful. Quiet at night, the staff are nice.
