Awesome chilled out space close to the beach. Not a party hostel but still has a really nice social vibe. Comfy beds in dorm, shower has adequate pressure, what else do you need?

Awesome place to stay ! I originally booked for 3 days, but it is so nice that I have actually stayed for 2 weeks. Nice chats with the owners, the staff and other guests (which also tend to stay longer than originally planned). The place is lovely, calm and great to meet other people. Last, the location is great: In the center of La Punta (beautiful and lively neighbourhood with a very interesting mix between Mexican an backpackers cultures). It is also a really good base to organise day trips; if a bit longer, you can leave your stuff at the hostel and leave with a small backpack, which is very convenient. I definitely recommend this place !

It is 300 pesos per night, so it's one of the cheaper hostels in the area but there's no air-conditioning or mosquito net. So the rooms are hot and you get bitten alive

I had a private room. I saw dust and grime in the entire facilities, the room, the bathroom kitchen. The bathrooms are so poor and small. Two men, including the manager, were coughing carelessly all the time and spent their time in the kitchen. Plus the fridge is so small, old and filthy I couldn't stand in that area. I heard boisterous voices until 2am and overall had a terrible, ugly night.

It was okay in terms of the cleanliness, the owner must not have liked my darker skin so she charged me a higher price for a bunk than everyone else who was in the room. I asked for my money back and left. Beware.

The hostel is moderately well kept. But there is no receptionist and the person who checks you in is almost never there so you’re left hanging. Not a very social hostel and the hostel doesn’t have any organized events. My sheets also did not smell like there were washed thoroughly. For 350 pesos, that is very expensive for doing the bare minimum. Also, when the European kids decide to throw a party there, you can forget about sleeping. There’s no sound proofing and you can hear everything going on and the hostel does nothing about it since no one is there to supervise nor will they make any attempt to do anything about it. Your sleep will be at the mercy of whatever group decides to stay there that day. Save your money and go to Casa Punta. Better staff and more chilled yet social environment that’s well managed.

NOISY HOSTEL Don’t stay here if you’re looking for a quiet place! Music (very loud!!) from the bars and clubs super late at night + Construction in the morning!! ? The mattress is really old… Amenities are ok Won’t stay there again

Nicely located place in the middle of La Punta. Small hostel with a big chill/common area so it’s easy to meet the other guests. Did not see/met any of the owners/workers there, but place was neat. Would recommend if you’re looking for a layed-back place in La Punta.
