Pacific Palace Beach - 82100 Mazatlán

Sunwing Vacation Trip Gone Wrong, Bring Your Earplugs, Bar Next Door I went to the Hotel they stated and it is this one, Pacific Palace Tower Beach Hotel. I get to the Hotel, and as was booked through Sunwing it is Oceanfront room.So they gave me Oceanfront, and gave me a room on the first floor. I walk into this room, and I can hear a band playing. I walk out on my balcony, and there is a bar 60 feet away, and with band playing exactly at the edge of the property line, 60 feet away. You can review photos included. I am just chocked. How could someone be so rude as to not give me a room in a Hotel I booked, and then me to another hotel, with a Band playing 60 feet away. So what I did, was go to the front lobby, and advise them I cannot handle this bar and band playing 60 feet away. They advised me they would move me to the 9th floor. This is another 90 feet away, so I said yes. The band played late Friday night, and I put ear plugs in. Saturday night they played to 3:30 am, ear plugs again. Sunday night Ear plugs again. come Tuesday, all heck went loose. Tuesday morning the bar is setting up a bandstand on the beach with it, and speakers facing the bar, and of course the Hotel. From 12 noon to 6 pm, they played Country Music and singer giving it the best he could. Of course with his life story involved in there. After they finished playing at 6 pm, what happens? The band inside the bar starts playing.The photos shown has the bandstand set up during the daytime, and it shows where the band plays at night. You may say bummer for you, well let’s take a look at other reviews of this hotel. June 20, 2018- loud music till 4am June 9, 2016- sleep there is impossible, even with ear plugs. From 9:00 PM to 4:00 AM, the open air bar immediately behind the hotel plays Disc Jockey music in an ever increasing crescendo until the walls of the rooms actually vibrate. Did it ruin my holiday? Yes. I did not fly 8,000 kilometers there and back to be treated like this.

Good price/quality ratio. Air conditioning and air ducts quite noisy. Rooms and common areas are clean. Swimming pool too small and crowded by annoying children. Beach is clean and landscape beautiful.

The beds are very hard like a rock and 4 days a week there is very loud mexican music till 1AM or later that gets louder and louder from a neighbor bar and music during the day from 11AM to 2PM. This isnt a resort but more of a hotel. The rooms are large with a fridge, microwave and nice bathrooms. This is pretty much an all mexican hotel with very few that speak little english. The location is great close to very nice restraunts, has very nice breakfasts. I wouldn't recommend as a resort for a 1 or 2 week vacation but more a good hotel for a few days stay.

Beautiful!!! The only thing I wish Mazatlan offered was table side service at the Cabana or pool side service. Just a preference. Other than that breathtaking views ? happy to be here celebrating Feliz compleanos.

The place was very good. It was full when we arrived but the check-in didn't take long. Everything was easy to find and, for what we hired, we had access to the entire building. PACIFIC PALACE Beach Tower is right besides Oceano Palace and they share the Lobby and the restaurants. Each of them has a pool but you can access any of them. The tower is right by the beach and you don't have to walk but a few meters to go down and enjoy the ocean. There is a gym on the Oceano Palace side and a very quiet bar. Our room was clean and cool when we arrived and it was cleaned daily. There was a kitchen space with a sink, a microwave and a refrigerator, two closets with an iron and ironing table already there, hangers and a safe; a large mirror and a small table with two chairs besides the double beds. All rooms have balcony with view to the beach on one side and to the city on the other. It's a "15" store building.

Good value! Meals very decent. No gastro problem here! Helpful staff! Some English spoken. If not there's always some one willing to help! Clean in most cases. Beach could be cleaned bit more and sand pulled back up but good. Take lots of pesos for tips. None are shared. Everyman for themselves. And some deserve more! Drinks good. (add some better Canadian whiskey please) Beds are def hard. Takes couple days to adapt. Band on the Beach and Diego's get pretty loud. Pick a high up room if want it to be a bit quieter.

I wanted to start off with the issues I have had since arriving at the hotel. Upon arriving at Oceano palace the room was not like the pictures online and the shower floor was very dirty. We then we're sent to Luna hotel down the street and dealt with the same issues.. dirty shower and the style of the room was very out dated.we waited an hour to see two other rooms but my wife was not satisfied with the cleanliness. We went to Pacific palace and we were able to find a room with the help of Jacob the young man at the front desk was very willing to please and swayed us to stay with them as he was very helpful. The second elevator was broken causing my pregnant wife and I to walk up stairs every time we went up or downstairs. The gym could only be accessed by asking the reception to open it every time. Room service was also an issue. There was a significant language barrier as we speak primarily English with some Spanish. The manager finally came to the room to bring us the food we ordered 35 mins ago. Each time we had the maid clean there were hairs left all over the floor. Loud music would play every night on the beach. Now let's flip to the positive comments: The maid would offer water and towels each time Staff was helpful Views were great Food was satisfactory We were able to cook our own food

Stayed during New Year's Eve week. At check in, they said NYE dinner was the only option that night to eat on site. All other restaurants would be closed. Signed up charged an additional $80. Above all inclusive. Then told it was buffet only. Had to cancel charge w/ CC as they wanted $35. for refund. Each day there was no hot water, no warm water for a shower. Wait staff did not know what drinks were inclusive or required extra payment. They also did not know when signing for food or drinks was required. Overall stay away
