Fue uno de los primeros en construirse y formar parte del patrimonio de esta ciudad y ahora de la humanidad. En el interior se pueden apreciar murales, que relatan pasajes de la revolución mexicana, y con ello se puede ver la participación de los moreliences en esta etapa de la historia de México. Cuanta con tres patios abiertos. Se puede aceesar fácilmente por la parte de atrás de dicho edificio con alguna identificación.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La entrada al palacio es gratuita, solo hay que registrarse. Localizada Justo frente a catedral pero para ingresar se debe entrar por la calle de un lado. Es bastante grande, el lugar está muy bien conservado y actualmente se encuentra en remodelación. Cuenta con murales en todo el establecimiento, un buen lugar para hacer fotos o admirar la arquitectura del lugar.
