Las principales actividades económicas dentro del municipio son el comercio y el transporte, pero la mayor parte de la población económicamente activa labora fuera de Nicolás Romero. Se tiene registro de presencia humana en el actual territorio desde antes de la llegada de los conquistadores españoles, cuando ya existían los pueblos llamados ahora Santa María Magdalena Cahuacán (Quahuacan, lugar de águilas), San Miguel Hila (Tlillan, oscuridad), San Pedro Azcapotzaltongo (en los pequeños hormigueros) y San Francisco Magú, donde aún existe presencia otomí.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yo creo q debería de aver un poco de vigilancia ya q. no se ve ningún policía en la explanada o al rededor, y aparte hay gente q trae bebidas alcohólicas y nadie dice nada y sin embargo se lleban a los q están tomando en las banquetas,. solo el kiosco nos tapa del sol. ya no hay bancas lugares con sombra para ver de los eventos
 I think there should be a bit of vigilance since. No police can be seen on the esplanade or around it, and besides, there are people who bring alcoholic beverages and nobody says anything and yet they take away those who are drinking on the sidewalks. only the kiosk covers us from the sun. there are no longer benches shaded places to watch events

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bonito lugar, pero los fines de semana llegar a esta super pesado porque hay muchos puestos y la calle principal está llena de puestos, recomiendo más visitarlo durante la semana ya que no hay problema con los puestos
Nice place, but on weekends to get to this super heavy because there are many stalls and the main street is full of stalls, I highly recommend visiting it during the week as there is no problem with stalls

Tiene varias entradas, buena distribución en cuanto a las distintas oficinas, tiene una Plaza amplia para ceremonias, fiestas y festejos patrios, campañas y más. Lo recomiendo ampliamente para que vayan a visitar el Palacio Municipal de Nicolás Romero. Al rededor hay distintos comercios varios, muy variado y barato, frente al palacio hay diferentes transportes para distintos lugares, tranquilo, ameno y bueno para pasear.
It was better than it was before! It has several entrances, good distribution in terms of the different offices, it has a large square for ceremonies, parties and national celebrations, campaigns and more. I highly recommend it if you are going to visit the Municipal Palace of Nicolás Romero. Around there are different shops, very varied and cheap, in front of the palace there are different transports for different places, quiet, pleasant and good for walking.
