★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El Palacio municipal de playa del Carmen es pequeño pero ordenado, hay una plaza al frente de la fachada del palacio, un anfiteatro en los cuales se realizan ferias artesanales y espectáculos (conciertos) esta siempre bien resguardado por la policía municipal.
The municipal Palace of Playa del Carmen is small but neat, there is a square in front of the palace facade, an amphitheater in which artisanal fairs and shows (concerts) are always well guarded by the municipal police.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice city hall in the middle of Playa, mainly local people gather here to take a break during the day and at night. Family and kids come to play and eat at bicycle food stand. Lovers come here for intimicy, share and talk about their love and future.
No kids zone here or much activity except, once in a while, there is a music festival and other community activities...too bad. The water fountain is not working and only a few trees here, illuminated at night. There is an outside theatre for kids but, I never saw it alive except once, for a catholic religion gathering.
Crazy life in the city, this is the place to recover and chill outside any noise !! This place could become a community gathering spot like at church, two blocks away but, it's very under utilized.
