Palmaïa, The House of AïA - 77710 Playa del Carmen

We were in the Ocean Front King Suite With Bathtub. The rooms are spacious and the balcony has wooden panels so you can do yoga or other practices right in front of the ocean. The bathtub is really big and great for two people. The overall design is modern and calming. I also want to mention Ed (manager) who was very nice and helpful.

The House of Aia is truly amazing...how incredible to have the all of the luxuries of a 5 star resort but with sustainability and nature at its center. The plant-based food is the best we have ever had. The staff and service are top notch and the wellness classes were excellent and based in local traditions. We normally do not do repeat vacations but will definitely be back!!

This place is amazing. The food is incredible. The service is great and the beach and pools are top notch. They have thought of every detail. The grounds are impeccable. My one knock on the resort is that the floors are not very soundproof so you can hear people walking around above you at night in the rooms and it can be disruptive.

THEY SERVE MEAT AT THIS HOTEL!!!Best hotel experience ever. I was worried about the food since this is a vegan Resort and I hate vegetables. But while I was here I got steaks. Eggs. Cheeseburgers, and some good vegan food. Hotel is super safe and quiet. My favorite part was the bicycles placed all over the resort that you can ride to get around the resort and the Felix drinks in the mini fridge

Only good things to say. Absolutely love this resort and want to move in permanently one day if they’d let me ?? At this point my favorite resort in the world, thanks to the overall concept. Staff service, amazing beach, relaxing chill areas, atmosphere, bicycling around, healthy food, taco food truck on the beach!! and even a small co-working space with great coffee where I can work and do meetings from time to time ? To resort: Let me know when you open apartments for long term rental ??

Beautiful place, delivers on every promise. Great service, the first ever all vegetarian, Vegan friendly unlimited options. At a great location & very peaceful. Just very pricey .. you can get the service & location for far less but might not be the vegetarian options. Restaurants were great. Deserts not so much… some too weird so needs to balance comfort, familiarity & innovation a bit more. Was far too innovative so couldn’t decide if we would like it or not by reading & then really didn’t like not wanting to finish.

The service at this hotel is awful. I waited forever for everything. Calling this resort a five diamond hotel is a joke. Service is literally what makes a hotel. The grounds are amazing, I really do love them and it's what is saving me from giving this place a 1 star. Admittedly I'm not vegan or vegetarian, but I was trying to give myself a mass l meat cleanse as i so sometimes.. I've had many great vegetarian meals in my life. Not one was here. This was also another place service was horrible. 2 of the three nights nobody even came to our table for 30 minutes. Really? Second, all the kids meals are horrible and the same at every restaurant. My child ate French fries for 3 days. Right now I've been waiting 40 minutes for the valet and nothing. Waisting the last day I have here doing that. I really cannot understand how anyone can give this place 5 stars and I'm wondering if any of these reviews are even real. I've stayed at many resorts in my life, this is the worst service I've ever had. Needless to say this place is not worth the money? Shoot I don't know if it's worth half the money. Look elsewhere! Do better aia

My family spent a week here in April and I can't say enough positive things about our experience. The atmosphere is very family friendly but still relaxed and upscale. The food was exceptional (we are not vegan - the protein options were delicious and our kids loved it too). We were impressed with the attentiveness of the service from start to end. Our son had to go offsite for stitches and countless people went out of their way to check on him later that day and the following day. The kids house and in-room babysitting was great. We will definitely be back.
