About Palmar Hotel Tropical
Sayulita seems to get more crowded every year, but still is a nice town to visit for a day or so. You´ll find nice little shops and a good variety of restaurants and bars.
We recommend the jungle hike from San Pancho to Sayulita, it takes about 1.5 hours, is an easy walk through the jungle and ends on the north end beach of Sayulita. You can combine it perfectly with breakfast or dinner in Sayulita and then take a taxi back to the more tranquil San Pancho.
If you want to party, Sayulita is the place to go once San Pancho´s doors shut down.

It’s a small boutique hotel with very few rooms, quiet and with the most attentive service. They provide great recommendations for things to do and restaurants etc in the area. Our room was very comfortable and perfect for parents + kid.
we enjoyed everything!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s tastefully decorated and in a good location. However, the room was not great, right next to reception and you could hear everything. At times, it felt like living in an open plan office overhearing conversations, phone calls, other guests coming etc. No sound proofing, little privacy. Not sure this room should be rented out at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a little slice of paradise in a beautiful beach town. The rooms are designed with style and comfort in mind, anyone can feel like an Instagram influencer:). The room had everything I needed to enjoy my staying in to work as well as to go out and enjoy the town in a very thoughtful way. The staff was so helpful but not intrusive. You really felt like you had your own space to enjoy. To top it off the location couldn't be better. You are only a block or tow from town, the beach, so many restaurants, live music, and the weekly farmers market. Next door is an amazing yoga studio and spa. There is a sun speckled pool in the courtyard, if you want to take a break from the beach or work. It's just divine.
I would highly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone traveling to San Pancho!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited San Pancho which is a delightful town with great food and a wonderful beach. Staying at the Palmar made it perfect! We had the two bedroom Palapa Suite which was ideal--super comfortable beds with plenty of outdoor space. The pool was sparkly clean and there were always chairs to use. We were right across from the yoga studio which made the space feel even bigger than it already is. Can't say enough good things about the staff.

Felt like an oasis coming off the street into the palpable chill vibe of this sweet spot. We were in the Rooster room, bring your ear plugs if you want to sleep in- crowing gets quite loud!
Would stay again in a heartbeat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our week-long stay at the Palmar Hotel Tropical made our visit to San Pancho all the more memorable. We booked the Pal Cielo room and were wowed by the beauty and comfort of this accommodation. With the balcony doors wide open, we were treated to an enchanting view of palm trees and blue skies, and delighted by the cacophony of sounds floating through the warm breeze. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the shower temperature consistent. And, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. As much as we would love to keep this hotel to ourselves, we can't recommend it highly enough to others. You will not be disappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful place to stay. I will definitely stay here again. It is clean and has a relaxing energy. The decor is simple and artistic. Every room has a filteration system for clean drinking water. Its walking distance to the busy part of town and beach but far enough away if you like it more quiet. The staff was amazing and very helpful with all our questions. Would highly recommend this sweet hotel and cant wait to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little hotel, in a great town! We enjoyed our stay so much, the room and balcony were perfectly suited to our needs for our 5 day stay. Location was walkable to all the great restaurants and the beach. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Beach towels, chairs and umbrellas are available to borrow for beach days. Highly recommend - we definitely hope to come back someday!
