★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We tried to modify our reservation and they asked us to call AMEX-travel to ask them if there were charges for the cancelation. We called AMEX and they told us that they just do reservations. So we consider the hotel was lying to avoid return the money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel hasn't have elevator, the pool is too small, the cooling system didn't worked properly and make a lot of noise I do not recommend this hotel. Others best Western have better installations

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lets start with the most important topic which can already help you before even seeing the hotel. Don't trust Google, even if you enter the street name GoogleMaps will navigate you somewhere else. It is near the hotel but you should follow the main street and you will see it directly.
Lets start with the hotel, it is a typical business hotel, nothing more nothing less. The rooms are not near the reception, you have to walk there, passing the pool. That's not the biggest problem at all, the problem is that they have no elevator and you have to carry your stuff to the level you want to go.
Beside that the room is big enough and clean, which is one of the most important topics and it is quiet enough that you can get some sleep.
Unfortunately we had to leave before we good taste the breakfast buffet, bad luck, some say it is the best around but I don't have proof for that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel, the best parts are the service and the restaurant "La Calabaza." The employees were super nice and helpful all the time. The restaurant has an spectacular breakfast buffet all days full of Chiapas' traditional food, you should try the tamales and the chocolate (try all it is worth the price). The room where I stayed had an old design but it was clean and the AC worked perfectly. I loved the garden. They have a transportation courtesy service from the airport to the hotel, if you need transportation from the hotel to the airport you need to pay a small fee and reserve it because it is a small car but the drivers are awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great time at the SureStay and give them 5-stars! The room was spacious and very comfortable. The air conditioning and refrigerator both worked GREAT! Every staff member we met was courteous and kind - very friendly! The daily room cleaning service was very professional and we also took advantage of the laundry service. The breakfasts are delicious with different options each day from a huge buffet. There are other services available, such as a travel agency and an in-house transportation company which we used 3 times. (They're more expensive than street taxis, but the confidence and security is great!) The pool looked delicious even though we didn't swim. I would gladly return to this hotel as it was a VERY pleasant experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We flew in from Merida and booked several nights at this hotel as they offered airport transfer. The owner of the hotel helped us personally with the car service since as Spanish is so poor. There was also a young lady at the front desk named Dulce that was extremely helpful. The rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. The only complain I had was with the air-conditioning. It had an unpleasant odor but it didn't seem to bother my husband as much as it did me. I would stay here again though maybe in a cooler month.
