★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was somewhat surprised that someone had written a review about this place because I'd kept coming back for bread.
My local friend said her parents had been coming here for over 20 years and although the menu was pretty basic back then, things have been brought up to the 21st century with much variety in loaves, pastries, biscuits etc.
Everything is baked on site and the people who run it are just lovely.
I was somewhat surprised that tourists haven't discovered this place.
It was interesting that you buy what you want, someone puts a price on a piece of paper and you then go and pay at the counter.
Simple.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Lots of variety.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great bakery. It's clean, pastry is tasty, and it's extremely cheap. You could get a full bag of good pastry here for around 20 pesos, 1EU. The only downside is that they're cash only, which is understandable, see the prices.
It take a minute to understand how they work. You first put everything you want on a round metallic tray. You put it on the counter, where one lady will put everything in a bag and give you a check. And then with the check you go yo another counter, where you pay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Croissant are so bad, no flavor, dry, chocolatin is almost empty, no chocolate flavored, the bread is far from good, really cheap but cheaper have is consequences, bread sticks flavor is good but are no crispy, cashier attitude is quiet rude, you can't feel a friendly environment. First and last time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices are really low (you can get some pastries for 3-4 pesos). Flavor is hit or miss for the pan dulces, more hit than miss. Honestly, the price is so low you can afford to try everything in the store for less than 10 usd. Good place to try traditional Mexican pan!

Super cute bakery that locals shop so you know it’s good!!!
We grabbed a few varieties & they were all wonderful.
Pair with a Oaxacan hot chocolate & you will be in heaven!! ❤️??
