I only came here for a few events (not to stay in the hotel), but this place has an amazing atmosphere!! The drinks were tasty, the venue was gorgeous. Service was great! The cashless bar was not an issue. Adding money was usually quick and painless.

We came here for a beach day and it was fantastic! Thank you so much to Carlos for recommending us amazing food on the menu and for providing such an amazing service. He also took time to give us recommendations on activities around! This will be a great memory :)

Papaya FAILED Project. This place needs a hard lesson on hospitality. After building two successful hospitality companies myself I tend to give a lot more grace to staff but this place crossed the line on many occasions. - Charging guests for service fees to cover room cleanings, bellmen, etc. BUT rooms were NOT cleaned (and still not after we asked for them to clean it. They made an excuse citing guest security and did NOT CLEAN THE ROOM) and the bell man did not help us upon leaving. - Room charges were grossly OVERSTATED. We believe the servers changed the gratuity and they would not show us the receipts when we asked for them. This is FRAUD. - They held a music festival on the property that went until 8AM with music shaking our entire room so we got no sleep the entire weekend and they refused to compensate or relocate us when we explained we did not know about the festival and came to have a vacation, not a rave. - Staff was rude, unhelpful, insulting at times, and threatened us when we refused to pay the false room charges. -this place is a disgrace to hospitality Our Credit card company has them under investigation so not our problem anymore but please save yourself from losing money, sleep and happiness at this sham of a hotel

From the moment the gates open you find yourself smiling back at the friendly, accommodating staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The first night I got to stay in the Jungle Casita With Rooftop Pool, which instantly transports you to a storybook-like oasis surrounded by beautiful flora. The beach club is a blast! Great food, DJ, and views. Will definitely come back!

They charged me $20000 instead to Pesos and when I told about it they tried convincing me that the charged in pesos. But eventually they corrected it. So be careful when you swipe your card. Then they never got our luggage to our room and I had to go back and get it. Their room service is a joke. Asked them to deliver food and they never did. Their bar staff is also rude. Do not leave any valuables in the room. Keep them in the safe. Some of my friends money got stolen. This place is managed very poorly and I wouldn’t recommend this place unless someone else is paying for your room. Even them there are much better hotels around.

I think this is more of a 3-star hotel dressed up as a 4-star hotel. The staff is mostly nice if you can get their attention. The seaweed is a problem everywhere so you just have to accept that if you're looking to vacation in these parts. As far as reserved seating on the beach front is concerned - it seemed clear to us that making money supersedes making its guests a priority. Business is business but I do think the hotel guests should be given priority over those that venture in off the street. There otherwise seems to be very little motivation to stay at this hotel based on our experience.

Had a great day at the beach club here. The minimum spend is pricey (doesn’t include tax + tip) but it’s a lot of fun If you feel like a splurge. The chilaquiles and juices were amazing and the drinks were refreshing. The DJ was low key and made for a cooler environment. There is a small pool for dipping.

Had a great time at this hotel. Conveniently located on the beach and by a curated jungle atmosphere. Staff was very helpful. Damian from Guest Experience went above and beyond to get me an upgraded room. I originally had a rooftop pool and he was so determined and passionate about helping me get a better room, he managed to get me an upgrade to an amazing casita with pool with ocean view and a rooftop deck. Damian made my stay and I will be sure to come back thanks to his dedication. These little attentions is what makes the difference and it set the tone for a great - and much needed- vacation.
