R	Rebeca Garcia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parador totalmente rústico, la gente muy amable y atenta. Hay lugarcitos donde tomar café y chocolate. Hacen huevo revueltos, empanadas y taquitos de barbacoa. Tortillas a mano. ( eso es lo que vendian en donde desayune) el camino es estrecho y de 1 solo sentido en algunos tramos. Suben los carros que no sean muy bajos ya que hay tramos pavimentados y otros no que tienen mucha piedra y baches. Fácilmente encontramos guía y si llevas muchas cosas, puedes contratar un caballo para que las suba. El costo es de 100 pesos por persona. Pero si son un grupo grande ( más de 15) se cobra 50 pesos. A partir de aquí se inicia el ascenso al volcán Tacana. Totally rustic Parador, the people are very friendly and attentive. There are little places where you can have coffee and chocolate. They make scrambled eggs, empanadas, and barbecue taquitos. Tortillas by hand. (that's what they sold where I had breakfast) the road is narrow and one-way in some sections. Cars that are not very low go up since there are paved sections and others that are not very rocky and have potholes. We can easily find a guide and if you have a lot of things, you can hire a horse to carry them up. The cost is 100 pesos per person. But if they are a large group (more than 15) they charge 50 pesos. From here the ascent to the Tacana volcano begins.

Después de llegar al pueblo de Unión Juárez toma el camino de terracería del lado izquierdo y aproximadamente en auto unos 50mib estás en Chiquihuites. Al llegar pregunta por la señora Rosa y su hija Juanita. Tienen desayunos y un pequeño hospedaje con un balcón con mirador había la montaña. La experiencia de tomar café en ese lugar te parecerá mágica. Chiquihuites is a community on the Tacaná volcano, the natural border between Mexico and Guatemala.
