Love this place, great wedding venue!!

We spent the afternoon here lounging by the water and it was fantastic! Amazing service and great food and drink! Highly recommend!!

I was a guest at my friends wedding. I was the first one to arrive and almost the last one to leave. The place was booked from 3pm to 4am (ohh yes! 13 hours of partying like a mexican). The service was outstanding the whole time. The set up was a picture for a post card. The chile relleno they served was pretty and mouthwatering. The appetizers the first 2 hours were just perfect. Something it is worth to mention: I needed some cofee and my friend did not hire that service...The wedding planner went above and beyond to get me that coffee from a store. Everything was just great.

We just had our wedding in Paraiso Bacalar. Both myself and my wife live in Switzerland: different languages, time zones, and cultures. We didn’t even visit the venue once before the actual event. I must say.. the whole experience was OUTSTANDING! Pepe (wedding planner) made sure everything was spot on! I’m really impressed with everything. Pepe is a talented guy that is doing what he loves. All my guests told us this was the best wedding they ever saw... Pepe really took us step by step since day 1 and it was all planned smoothly. Highly recommend Paraiso Bacalar! And esp Pepe!!! Job very well done and good luck for what already looks like a very bright future!! Thank u sooooooooo much for making our wedding an unforgettable experience

The place was amazing, went there for a wedding and it was perfect, the decoration was splendid as well as the helpful staff, and the view must be one of the best in Bacalar, would recommend for any kind of event.

Hands down, the best option for an authentic and beautiful wedding in the Mayan Peninsula! Paraiso Bacalar is without a doubt a dream place to have a destination wedding. The service is absolutely outstanding! Not only is the venue breathtaking with the beautiful lagoon of seven colours in front of the garden, but the whole experience of the wedding planning was amazing. We had our wedding here on June 2nd 2018, and we are extremely grateful to Jose Roch, the wedding planner and owner of the venue. HIs level of professionalism --and the way he loves what he does-- made what is normally a stressful experience, i.e. planning a wedding, an incredible and enjoyable experience. In a nutshell, he made our dreams come true. Many of our guests, who came all the way from Australia, Germany, the US, Brazil, Mexico, among other countries, told us that it had been the most gorgeous wedding they had ever been to. His level of professionalism awed us, as he took care of every last detail a year before the wedding, as well as the day itself. He put us in touch with the best providers in Bacalar (e.g. decorator, photographer), and worked efficiently and with passion with them. He took care of the catering and most of all other providers, with many fun surprises for us. His wife, a pastry chef, prepared the most delicious cake and dessert table you can imagine! I am out at a loss of words to express how grateful we both are for the amazing work they did. For us, who reside in Paris, it was difficult to conceive how to plan a wedding at a distance, but Jose made everything easy for us as he was always available and kind. I amply recommend this venue for anyone looking to have a destination wedding where your dreams come true! Here are some pictures for you to see the beauty of this place.
