★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Obviously a great location- nachos were loaded with cheese! Considering they have monopoly over food and drinks- the prices weren’t bad at all! They let us sit for several hours and swim and drink.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best places I've ever been. In the states, there would have been signs posted all over explaining the 300 things we aren't allowed to do there. But in Quimixto we were allowed to go wherever we wanted, climb on top of the waterfall, and jump into the water from wherever we wanted - all while being served as many drinks as we wanted. Six stars.

They charged IVA tax.
I was told I should have saved my recite, to take before a judge. It is against the law what they are doing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little eatery at the Cuale Waterfall. Authentic Mexican food created by locals. Great way to support these small villages! Make no mistake, the food is delicious and fresh as can be.
The fresh guacamole and chips are amazing and refreshing. And of course drinks are available here too. Have some great food while you relax next to the falls!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best and most accessible waterfall in the bay area. Go early and you may have this paradise to yourself. The prices for food and drinks are about the same as most other tourist sites in the area. Personally I think it is a great value considering the location and all supplies have to be brought first by boat to Quimixto, then by horseback. Also, maintaining the trail and a restaurant that is susceptible to flooding. You may get lucky and see local kids jump from the top of the cliff, not sure how high, but maybe around 60 feet.
