Park Royal Beach Mazatlán - 82100 Mazatlán

Barely 3 stars. 2 out of 5 days maid showed up. Beds are old and uncomfortable. If you don't rent the condo the third floor is the highest hotel floor. Pool guy tried to tell me I couldn't bring my cooler with ice and plastic bottles to the pool. He said it's in the rules. I checked. It's not in the rules. So I told him to put it in the rules and come talk to me. Not friendly. Service sucks. View is amazing.

Amazing view. Pool placed perfectly. Enjoying the pool you just see the water of the ocean as a second close pool. Pool/Bar perfect. Rooms clean/ Air condition great - typical for Mexico - for Europeans irritating - the necessary strong, good and friendly security. Recommendation.

Stayed a whole week at the park royal in Mazatlan . Don’t recommend at all! First of the AC doesn’t work!!!!!! I can’t stress enough about the AC not working !!!!! The rooms are okay! Not worth the price I would NEVER EVER GO BACK!!!

Oh man.....if I could I would leave ZERO STARS for this hotel. What a disappointment, STAY AWAY! Go spend your hard earned money elsewhere. They assigned us a room which was labeled a Suite...ummmm it was a REGULAR OLD room. What made IT a "suite" was the microwave and mini fridge....seriously!? This is NOT a Suite whatsoever. It was definitely the worse room: the front door SUPER DIFFICULT to open, floor was dirty, no hot water in the shower, drain clogged in the shower, toilet dirty....just HORRIBLE! DO NOT STAY here.

We stayed here in 2005. 17 years later we found Park Royal slowly declining into a Motel 6. The bed was comfortable. Free water & coffee with nice mugs, in the room was nice. We found the staff still incredibly nice! Felix, Ofelia, (immediately introduced herself & asked if we needed anything), the beautiful check in gal with glasses, great eye contact, everyone was helpful! Good meals in the restaurant with good prices. Pay with plastic only. I would suggest having an english menu. Instead of having some English printed in small font under the Spanish description of the meal. I didn't see where, on online, the option was to see the english menu. UNFORTUNATELY! The floor in our room had a once over before we arrived, the lights next to our bed didn't work, our bathroom sink trap was installed wrong, water flooded the floor, the seal around the outside door had gaps, the dead bolt didn't work, good luck using the elevators, they were in use, we used the steps often, some how our welcome drink, when we arrived, got missed. Our expectations of the Park Royal Beach Mazatlán from what it was in 2005 compared to 2022, were left in the past.

Rooms are good. Views are great from the rooms. There was some construction going on and they were working past 10 pm! Also elevators are being used by the construction workers and takes a little bit of time to get an elevator. The restaurant has great service and food!! (Veranda)

This review is for the restaurant, specifically the breakfast (we did not have dinner there). Oscar, Gerardo & Daniel gave spectacular service every morning and we loved our breakfast every day. They have a lot of healthy options. Honestly one of the highlights of the whole trip was these great servers and delicious breakfast!

Where to start. Stayed for a wedding for my brother in law and I have to say this has been probably the worst hotel experience I have had. The hotel is in a good location and has so much potential but the maintenance and the staff has been the biggest dissatisfaction of a resort that I have yet to have. The poor maintenance, the paint coming off the wall, the light fixtures falling off, the rude staff, and the fact that the hot water was shut off at 10pm and no sort of reimbursement was given makes this place just deplorable. DEFINITELY DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE! I have stayed a much cheaper places in Mazatlan with 10X better service! Don’t recommend at all.
