★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small park surrounded by colonial houses and a small colonial church. There are a number of swanky restaurants and pubs in the arcaded building that frames its north west corner. Several trees fill the square providing welcome shade. This is also where the big facing chairs of Merida got their start. On the weekend there is live music and dancing in the square. A fun place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small but excellent location to just relax for a moment. Restaurants circle the area and not much traffic. Great place for photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a beautiful park in the middle of the city with lots of business around such as restaurants and hotels, it's a great place to come and visit with your family or friends. The day I came and visit it was with my wife and kid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not really a park, but it's a nice place to take a break. And here you can also find the famous, white "you and me chairs". And there is also a huge model of this chairs where you can take funny pics, because the chair ist so huge that you will look like a child.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A magical square with great local music and dancing on Thursday evenings. If only the restaurants didn’t play loud recorded music and force you to listen to a cacophony of sounds it would be a great place to enjoy an afternoon drink.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy and greenery park from few block of plaza Gande. On Thursday night 8pm they have traditional Mexican dance ceremony and many people gather for that. Beautiful place to enjoy Merida's night atmosphere.
