DESCONTINUADA COMO PRESA Al entregar la presa al Municipio, el 5 de abril de 2002, el director general de la Comisión Nacional del Agua, Cristóbal Jaime Jáquez, señaló que este vaso de almacenamiento fue descontinuado porque el desgaste y el azolve provocaron que disminuyera en un 95 por ciento su capacidad de contener agua.
