★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice city park shaped like a big circle, suitable for a short stroll. Full of magnificent towering beech trees (hayas) that provide lots of shade. There are paved paths and benches throughout, although the benches are not particularly clean or comfortable. On the north side of the park there are usually some vendors selling park food, including some of the best churros in the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice small green space, clean and accessible. Right now there are few people and therefore it's easier to find a quiet and comfortable location. It seem to have a lot of old and tall trees, there are a few plaques with a brief description of some trees. So, in conclusion, it's a nice place to calm your mind and enjoy a green space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's the oldest park in Xalapa. The first baseball game outside the US was played there, using Santa Ana's leg as a bat!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a remarkable lush and tranquil oasis in the 'centro' area. Walkable both from the Veracruzana University campus and downtown, this surprisingly large park has a little for everyone: benches, mini-trials, 3 cafes, public restrooms, 4 children playground, monuments and plaques for history buffs, a gazebo, and at least 4 fountains.
I started to plan all my walks starting on this park, that's how much I liked it!
