C	Carlos Alberto Masés García on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Xcalak es uno de los sitios más bonitos que he visitado en México, para poder "snorkelear", bucear, hacer actividades recreativas así como trabajos de investigación, educación o docencia es necesario pagar un cintillo en las oficinas del Parque. Es un lugar de aguas turquezas, tiene una barrera arrecifal impresionante muy cerca de la costa, las aguas del mar abierto se calman cuando interactuan con el arrecife, dejando una alberca marina y debajo de ella hay un bosque de corales con bancos de peces multicolores. La gente es cálida, hay hospedaje, se come rico, los pescadores se dedican a pescar langosta como una de sus principales actividades. Lo que más me gustó es que está tranquilo, sin tanta bulla a comparación de otros sitios del caribe donde los turistas ya sobrepasaron la capacidad de esos sitios. It is a place of turquoise waters, it has an impressive reef barrier very close to the coast, the open sea waters calm down when they interact with the reef, leaving a marine pool and beneath it there is a coral forest with multicolored fish banks. The people are warm, there is lodging, they eat delicious, the fishermen are fishing for lobster as one of their main activities. What I liked most is that it is quiet, without much noise compared to other places in the Caribbean where tourists have already exceeded the capacity of those sites.

A nosotros nos tocó ver manatíes y róbalos de 3 metros de largo así que valió mucho la pena la experiencia. Muy recomendable para bucear. Para otro tipo de turismo no hay absolutamente nada. The dive site is amazing. The beach is disgusting. So if you're not going to dive, better save yourself all the way there. We had to see manatees and 3 meter long snook so it was well worth the experience. Highly recommended for snorkelling. For other types of tourism there is absolutely nothing.
I	Iván Hernández on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ En contra esquina del "parque de Xcalak" se estaciona el autobus "Caribe" del grupo ADO diariamente que va hacia -Mahahual, limones, Bacalar, Chetumal- unicamente hay dos salidas al día: a las 5 a.m. y a las 2 p.m Es un pueblito con casitas tipo caribeñas (Belize) acuden pocos turistas, al llegar, busquen y negocien precios con alguna lancha para que les de un recorrido por el canal de Zaragoza (frontera entre Belize y México) y los lleve a una pequeña isla, y les de tiempo para nadar en una playita que está al entrar del canal. Paisajes involvidables. Nos llevó hasta los manantiales con el borde entre México y Belice. Es posible que haya sargazo y quizá parezca que no hay actividad turística, pero busquen a Don Nato y les dará el tour. Vimos delfines, rayas, diferentes peces. Los manatíes no los pudimos ver. Excellent place to relax. We recommend the tour with Don Nato, he gave a good price, attention and quality of the tour. He took us to the springs with the border between Mexico and Belize. Sargassum may be present and it may appear that there is no tourist activity, but look for Don Nato and he will give you the tour. We saw dolphins, rays, different fish. The manatees we could not see.

Xcalak es pueblito super chiquito parece casi fantasma, pero tiene algunas agencias que hacen éstos tours a buen precio. Es un paseo increíble! If you love to explore the amazing world that the sea hides by diving or snorkeling, this place is the one! Xcalak is a super small town that seems almost like a ghost, but it has some agencies that do these tours at a good price. It's an amazing ride!
