Parque, Portal Maya - 77710 Playa del Carmen

Best street food, amazing prices. We would have had 10 tortas while in Playa from this stand. Even brought some to the airport with us to eat in the plane. We paid $35 pesos for a foot long torta, that you can add on all the toppings and amazing Salsas as well. Great juices too.

Parque was actually closed when we were there; however, it was still visible from the beach and 5th Avenue. The sculpture with its copper character is beginning its transition to green from the salt of the see. Having gotten up early, walked down the beach only to arrive here for the sunrise. The sand is soft and was actually a great place to play in the water. While there were still several folks being silly, dancing, or working out on the beach in the morning we found this spot to be remarkably secluded and safe to get in the ocean. Don’t know when it’ll open up, allowing people to walk from 5th to the beach. But now it’s pretty quiet and about as far as you can walk down the beach before the ferry terminal and Playacar. Found lots of shells and fun ocean debris. But don’t expect a lot of people or no place to hang in the morning. The statue is beautiful the way it erupts from the earth in the form of water raising the lovers into the sky. Supported and encouraged by the local animals as the Mexican Adam and Eve embrace in a double high-five that can seen from all around. Gorgeous statue to be witnessed by all, best seen right on the beach. Wish the park itself would open back up. Would love to know more about this incredible work of art.

If you like local life, this is your place. Very crowded. I was there on a weekday and there was a performance going on. Next to a great beach.

Beautiful place, lots of little souvenirs shops around.

Not the nicest park I've seen in mexico; it's little more than a couple of trees. If you want to hear birds of the area, come here. There might be more birds in this park than in Alfred Hitchcock's movie. This can also be observed by the amount of bird droppings all over the floor.

This is considered like a meeting point,very popular and from here you can take the ferry to Isla Cozumel.

Very nice little park beside the beach they do night shows of different varieties throughout the year

Lots of little carts selling a variety of drinks and snacks. Daily performances going on, normally more than just 1. Good spot to sit and relax by the water. Also close to the Playa Del Carmen sign
