La Parroquia de la Pasión cuyo nombre completo es "La Pasión de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo", se terminó de construir en 1971. Su arquitectura fue innovadora para la época, con un aspecto exterior muy diferente y dividida en su interior, en varias plantas destinadas a usos específicos. Algo que la hace única, es una gran escultura de "Cristo resucitado", que pende aproximadamente a veinte metros de altura; éste se observa majestuoso delante de un vitral igualmente imponente.
Esta bella iglesia (en el más puro sentído arquitectónico), es punto clave histórico y de reflexión; es analogía perfecta del objetivo de la parroquia: Construir comunión para anunciar a Jesucristo, uniéndose al proceso misionero propuesto por la Arquidiócesis de México.
De esta manera, en su etapa más esplendorosa, se atendía e involucraba la comunidad, integrándose coros parroquiales, grupos de atención a adultos y adultos mayores y catequesis para niños, adolescentes y adultos entre otras actividades, además de que en su momento, existió un dispensario médico, todo esto a cargo de un grupo de sacerdotes pertenecientes a la orden Pasionista. Estas acciones, promovían la empatía, comprensión y cohesión comunitaria.
Hoy, los tiempos y cambios generacionales han disminuido esta excelente actividad. Considero es importante, más allá de las creencias, saber que entre todos, podemos rehacer y reconstruir el tejido familiar y social, tan deteriorado en la actualidad.

The Parish of the Passion, whose full name is "The Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ", was completed in 1971. Its architecture was innovative for the time, with a very different external appearance and divided into several floors. specific uses. Something that makes it unique is a large sculpture of the "risen Christ", which hangs approximately twenty meters high; it is observed majestically in front of an equally imposing stained glass window.
This beautiful church (in the purest architectural sense), is a historical and reflection key point; it is a perfect analogy of the objective of the parish: to build communion to announce Jesus Christ, joining the missionary process proposed by the Archdiocese of Mexico.
In this way, in its most splendid stage, the community was attended and involved, integrating parish choirs, care groups for adults and the elderly and catechesis for children, adolescents and adults among other activities, in addition to the fact that at the time, there was a medical dispensary, all of this run by a group of priests belonging to the Passionist order. These actions promoted empathy, understanding and community cohesion.
Today, the times and generational changes have diminished this excellent activity. I consider it important, beyond beliefs, to know that together, we can remake and rebuild the family and social fabric, so deteriorated today.
