Eusebio Hieronymus, commonly known as Saint Jerome, but also as Jerónimo de Estridón or simply Jerónimo, translated the Bible from Greek and Hebrew into Latin at the request of Pope Damaso I. He is considered Father of the Church, one of the four great Latino Fathers.
