★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous church, fantastic way to enjoy a quiet morning. Right next to the church is the Parque de Santiago with a beautiful fountain and lots of pigeons to feed :) and if you get hungry you can grab a bite to eat at the market right next to the church. I enjoyed this plaza much better than the busy main zocalo in the historic centro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful old church with great free parking in the square! We tipped the old man who helped us find a parking spot! The square has a lot of great local food vendors at very cheap prices...try the marquepesitas for a dessert (flat waffle cone spread with Nutella, banana and cheese) ?
Live music at night was lovely ?

The altar is decorated very interestingly with religious sculptures and it makes for a beautiful place. The little chapel is always kept clean and the atmosphere is very calm and soothing.
Don't hesitate to visit and have a marquesita afterwards in the park!
