★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another small, understated church, in glorious Isla Mujeres that tells the story of Catholicism as well as Spanish influence in Christianity. This was my time to finally explore churches in the Island and what I discovered turned my deep rooted love for Isla Mujeres into a full blown obsession for more. White, clean and with the ocean breeze circulating and the amazing turquoise ocean in the background this church is a jewel. Took my time to take in and admire the murals and to meditate while doing so. Isleños have much to be grateful by having the chance to worship on a place like this. Simple life, historic church, walk on a plaza and say your prayers at Parroquia Inmaculada.
