★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Iglesia tipo basílica, con fachada estilo bizantino por sus tres Arcos labrados y portales. Restaurada en 2003, y construida en conmemoración al santo patrono San Martín Obispo. Además es cede de la diócesis de Acayucan, y cuenta con recintos destinados a la administración y atención de los fieles. Sus interiores están adornados con frescos que relatan los escritos del Nuevo Testamento así como sus vitrales de diseño renacentista.
Basilica-type church, with a Byzantine-style façade due to its three carved arches and portals. Restored in 2003, and built in commemoration of the patron saint San Martín Obispo. It is also the headquarters of the Diocese of Acayucan, and has facilities for the administration and care of the faithful. Its interiors are adorned with frescoes recounting the writings of the New Testament as well as its stained glass windows of Renaissance design.
