A unos 80 kilómetros de la ciudad de Mérida, una parroquia con su exconvento que data del siglo XVII y fue erigida en honor a San Miguel Arcángel. En septiembre toca al patrono, y miles de personas de ese municipio y pueblos vecinos participan en las actividades religiosas que incluye peregrinar por ese poblado llevando a hombros la venerada imagen.
Church of San Miguel Arcángel, is a place that you have to visit if you are in Temax, Yucatán. About 80 kilometers from the city of Mérida, a parish with its former convent dating from the seventeenth century and was erected in honor of San Miguel Arcángel. In September it is the patron's turn, and thousands of people from that municipality and neighboring towns participate in religious activities that include pilgrimage through that town carrying the venerated image on their shoulders.
