★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Parroquia Santa María de la Asunción es una joya de la arquitectura virreinal. Es de construcción agustina al igual que el cercano Ex Convento de Acolman. Tiene la peculiaridad de tener puertas pequeñas en el claustro. Es un lugar hermoso y aunque es pequeño vale mucho la pena visitar.
The Parish of Santa María de la Asunción is a jewel of the viceregal architecture. It is of Augustinian construction just like the nearby Ex Convent of Acolman. It has the peculiarity of having small doors in the cloister. It is a beautiful place and although it is small it is well worth visiting.

La parroquia de Santa María una estructura que cuenta una historia increíble con una entrada en forma de cerro como lo que significa el nombre del pueblo Nopaltepec (cerro de nopales). A un lado de la parroquia tenemos un pirul de gran edad y que cuenta unas historias increíbles y muy difícil de creer, solo que no todos los habitantes las pueden contar..
Recomendacion: busca al crónico del pueblo y te aseguro que no te arrepentirás

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es una iglesia muy bonita y céntrica del municipio de Nopaltepec, esta a lado del mercado y presidencia cuenta con 3 entradas y a unas cuadras del cementerio es un poco pequeña pero tiene mucho encantó por dentro, si es recomendable visitarla y mantiene las tradiciones mexicanas
