★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es la mera mera patrona del municipio de Quitupan y sus rancherías es un gusto haber estado unos días en las fiestas pasadas espero tener la dicha de volver a estar en las que vienen del 2020 ya que la misa la hacen afuera del templo por que es mucha la gente que viene por sus fiestas
It is the mere patron of the municipality of Quitupan and its ranches is a pleasure to have been a few days in the past holidays I hope to have the joy of being in the coming of 2020 since the mass is outside the temple because it is much the people who come for their parties

Es la patrona del pueblo, sus fiestas inician con la "traída" de la virgen,
y consiste en una procesión de San Francisco a Quitupan, se cuenta con danzantes, pirotecnia y se reza durante el trayecto, llega al atrio del templo donde se celebra misa.
Al termino hay verbena popular, castillo y tradicional torito.
Uno de los días mas destacado es el 5 de febrero día de los hijos ausentes, ya que gran parte de la población emigra a USA y se congregan para celebrar.
El templo fue recientemente re modelado en el altar así como ampliado de una nave central con doble fila de bancas a 3 con 5 filas.
The Virgin of the Candelaria
She is the patron saint of the town, her parties begin with the "brought" of the virgin,
and it consists of a procession from San Francisco to Quitupan, it has dancers, pyrotechnics and it is prayed during the journey, it arrives at the temple's atrium where Mass is celebrated.
At the end there is popular verbena, castle and traditional torito.
One of the most prominent days is February 5, the day of the absent children, since a large part of the population emigrates to the USA and congregate to celebrate.
The temple was recently re-modeled on the altar as well as expanded from a central nave with double row of benches to 3 with 5 rows.
