★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Oaxacan restaurant in Mexico City, as far as I could tell! Only complaint was the very high prices on the Mezcal - make sure to ask upfront on the prices! The service was amazing as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Oaxaca food. This place offers food that you simply can’t get anywhere but in Mexico. Its not the cheapest place to visit, but the food makes it worth it.
The only downside, is that prices are not always visible, so you might get recommended a Mezcal, without any disclosure of it being 500 pesos per serving. I would only be careful about that aspect, but aside from that, its a great place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mole with rice was fantastic! wow I was blown away, the chicken was baked and crunchy in a good way, it came with grilled banana.The chipiche Mezcal was good I haven't had a cocktail like that and I had many cocktails around the world.The tortilla was good.I will definitely come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was awful, despite all the good reviews. Please read some of the bad reviews, as they're all spot on! Food looks nice in pictures, but us overpriced for what you get, and the taste and flavors were okay at best.
This place was empty at lunch, the waiters came with an unmarked and overpriced mezcal cart and were very pushy about getting alcohol.
Watch-out: We ordered water and they charged us $120MX, which for context, most beer is $50-80MX at other restaurants. We also realized the bottle came opened and in previous reviews, they've been caught refilling them with tap. Not sure if this happened with us, but it was our first meal and got sick afterwards. Please be careful!
Ambience: This place also does all their cooking over an open flame, but the ventilation is not good and makes everything a bit smokey. It feels like a converted sports bar with a 70" TV mounted on the wall, old style bar and tight seating with a cloud of smoke.
I'd avoid this place if you can!
