Passion Island Weddings - 77600 San Miguel de Cozumel

This excursion was supposed to include drinks, a buffet, and entertainment. As soon as you step off of the boat, the dock is warped. They place you in a line for pictures. The drinks were served from igloo coolers. Yes, type of coolers that are use at football games . They were all watered down. They tasted like sugarfree punch. In order to get liquor or beer that wasn’t in a cooler, you had to pay for it . The buffet included about 5 or 6 things. There were many speeches given to stress the importance of tipping so that we know that the employees don’t make enough money to survive. I believe they played a couple of rounds of water balloon toss. There is even a tipping jar in the restroom. I heard one guy ask if we could be taken back early. I was thinking of asking the same thing. T-shirt’s were $26 with is outrageous. The beach was beautiful that was the only positive thing about this excursion. If you want my personal opinion, find a different resort. It’s a 45 minute boat ride one way . I felt bad that I convinced my friends to go instead of going to Mr Sanchos. I should have never made the suggestion. That excursion set my mood for the remainder of the cruise. I was so upset .

Booked this excursion when booking our cruise. All I can say is excellent. The boat ride to Isla Pasion on The Twister, YOU ARE GOING TO GET WET! Wonderful time! All you can eat and drink including adult beverages and the staff make sure you are never left with an empty glass. The beach is great with pure white sand, canoes, paddle bikes, and water trampolines. You may choose to just relax and lay under a palm tree or stretch out in a hammock, your choice. Any kind of relaxation that you would enjoy is here. Definitely worth a return trip soon.

We were there February 7th, 2013 and took a excursion from our cruise ship Crown Princess. We took the speed boat twister from the cruise dock, they were excellent and most fun highly recommend. Passion Island, beautiful! Clean and relaxing. The staff on the island did their utmost to please, provide and make you feel at ease. I would go back in a heart beat. Served a open bar, beer, drinks etc, and buffet lunch. The food was good. The beach sand is powder white, soft and clean. The water warm and Caribbean blue.

Absolutely a blast! My husband and I were there on our honeymoon in September 2013. Amid rainy days, this was the perfect day to be at the beach! Perfect sunshine, delicious food and drinks, and the Twister boat ride was so much fun! Beware if you're over 6'4 (like my husband), you may have to sit in a seat that isn't quite meant for your size. We were completely safe and secure, though. The island had great handicrafts and there were bracelet makers who wove personalized bracelets with each of our bridesmaids' names by the time we left!

We went here on an excursion during our cruise last week. Addy and Alex were amazing! Miguel the server kept our drinks full the entire time. It was gorgeous and so relaxing. The buffet food was delicious and the games they played were perfect for all ages. It is a private beach, clean and and not crowded at all.

Beautiful beach and attractions. Made great memories here on our honeymoon here back in 2017. Hope to return again some day.

My review is based off my wedding experience and not the excursion. This is probably on of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. I planned a destination wedding and had a total of 25 guests. We booked a cruise to Cozumel. It was the most beautiful wedding I could of asked for. There a few things that I can say I would suggest they improve on. They will be listed below. Overall it was a great experience and I am only sharing the items below to help fellow brides know the ups and downs of getting married through Isla Passion Weddings. I definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking for a beautiful venue. Genny was very helpful. Package Selected: Pearl Rose package $1,617.00 USD for 10 guests plus a charge of $123.00 USD per extra guest, plus 16 % TAX ●Private location for Ceremony and Reception at Isla Pasión. ●Symbolic officiant or Christian Minister services. ●Round transportation from any Hotel within Cozumel. (Taxi vans and boat ride) ●China and glassware. ●Bouquet and boutonniere for bride and groom. ●Wedding cake. ●Photographer service (100 digital pictures). ●Waiter and bartender service. ●Planning and coordination. ●Mexican Buffet (Chicken fajitas- fish Pastor Style - fusili pasta with meat balls, potatoes, rice, cucumber and mango salad, beans - Guacamole - Chips and habanero sauce - Tropical fruits salad) ●Domestic Open Bar for 6 hours (Rum, tequila and vodka mixed drinks - XX Lager beer - Sodas) 1. The commute to the island was not the greatest. We got off the boat and were greeted by a gentleman who walked us over to three taxi vans. We then drove approximately 35-40 mins on the absolute worst roadways. My guests were a bit startled by this commute. We arrived to a small dock where we were loaded on to two small boats. During that ride my hair that I had paid to have styled was ruined by splashing water. Not exactly sure how that can be prevented. 2. The buffet servers are not kept warm so the food gets cold easily. 3. If you plan on changing in the bathrooms please know that there is no air circulation at all. That did not sit well me being that it was 85 degrees outside. 4. Photographer we had only took pics of the ceremony and then guests. He does not stay for cake cutting or first dance. 5. I asked for blush or champagne roses. They spray painted purple roses with a nude blush color. The flowers were dying and looked terrible on my bouquet and cake. I felt as if the flower arrangements were used from a wedding days prior. I could care less but if I am paying extra then I expect to have what I asked for. 6. Officiant: He was a sweet man but his speech was terrible. You don't want to be asked if you would take a bullet for each other during a wedding ceremony. He also told my now husband during the ceremony that I might and get bigger. WOW! He also discussed his personal life during our ceremony which I get it but the ceremony is about us and not when he found god 25 years ago.
