I like the place because although it is small the place is compensated by the exquisite taste of its cakes and sweet bread. You can also spend long hours with a good cup of coffee or chai tea and a good conversation on the small but cozy terrace. The service is excellent.

Damn.....located in an "emblematic" neighborhood of CDMX and the bathroom does not have a sink, so it is suggested to bring antibacterial gel and wet cleaning wipes, I also kindly asked the person who attended me to allow me to connect my cell phone charger and it was not possible (despite the fact that there were plugs available in your space). Regarding the cappuccino coffee, bread, cookie and chocolate milk that I bought, they were fine. I enclose my proof of visit.

Not much to say little variety medium quality. Sunday after 5:00 pm only cash because they cut cash and there is no terminal. His "star bread" which is the brownie was finished ... ?

The truth is that the girl who "attends" is very rude,
The ones where it is the first time in more than 20 years that I have been buying bread there, very greasy, bathed in oil, before they were not like that.
Also, prices have gone up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ PASTELERIA ALCAZAR CALLE JALAPA< Col. Roma Sur, CDMX
So there is now FREE coronavirus exposure in Alcazar Pastry shops, they have either declared the Pandemic is over or, of course, that what matters most is their bottom line, i.e., the $ from every person entering the shop, with Covid or not. Alcazar may have good bread and pastries but their store on Jalapa, Col Roma Sur is very poorly managed. The products do not arrive punctually in the am, NEVER at 7:00 AM, more like 8:30. Sometimes they advertise items that are not ever sold at this store. Sometimes they have items, other times they simply do not bother to re-stock, sometimes do, sometimes don't- it's hit and miss.
BUT NOW, in the midst of the worsening Covis 19 pandemic, Pasteleria Alcazar has removed all signs mandating masks within their shops. Today I went to buy bread and there were maskless people freely milling around within the shop, breathing over all the products, the breads and bread trays, plastic wrappers, countertops, POS equipment, etc... When I asked what "the heck", the employee continued on as if no problem whatsoever. I stated she should not be allowing this but I then noticed all signs for mandatory mask wearing are now gone. NO SAFETY MEASURES WHATSOEVER, the floor tray without a drop of disinfectant or liquid, totally useless! Beware as surely where all their products are produced or handled there are not any sanitary measures in place. And if you buy, note that disinfecting bread& pastries is literally impossible...
