★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s always busy, you have to do a line, but once you are sitting you can enjoy a tasty paste, that have different filling options, you can try the traditional with a hot chocolate or coffee and if you like the sweet you can they the blackberry with cream cheese those are some of the filling that you can find here

Nice place with tasty traditional potatoe and meat pastes, situated in downtown. Try also the hot coco or cafe de olla.
Pastes are patties that were introduced to Hidalgo by the English when they operated the silver and gold mine. They are known in England as pasties (plural of pasty). The first pastes we made in mineral del monte. They are an easy to carry food for miners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to wait an hour in line. After this time I was told I could eat but only takeaway (???) It upset me a lot, you could have said earlier that there would be no service, I wouldn't have waited that long!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The empanadas are great! But the service was very poor! Also there were dogs keep coming in the place none stop ,running between your legs and under the tables.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a Brit in Mexico I was fascinated. Cornish pasties made spicy was an unusual twist on the original recipe, but otherwise they're just like in the UK, I can definitely understand why these have taken off in this area of Mexico, many many places sell all manor of these pastes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best pastes there are! If you are only looking for takeout there will always be a crazy line but it's totally worth it. If you are dining in make sure to go through the other door entrance otherwise you will be stuck in the takeout line. Chicken tinga is my absolute favorite. Pastes are served straight from the oven.
