Small quiet more private beach club with great pool, snack bar and drinks with amazing snorkeling!

It's a small beach by the ocean. Really nice. For a small charge they also have a big beautiful pool area and butterfly garden. Kind of a hidden spot and the food is fresh and good

Butterfly Sanctuary unfortunately is in really bad condition. I think they need to take more care about sanctuary. Entey fee is $8, but you can “fight “ for $5. Sanctuary is on the back of the building with swimming pool, you need to go inside to ask for. Anyway I always like to see butterfly.

The location is beautiful; you can snorkel right off the little beach and it is off the beaten track from the main tourist area which was doubly refreshing. The butterfly sanctuary itself was small, but well maintained and the people running it were knowledgeable and sincere about propagation of butterflies. I give it only 3 stars, however, because of the bad experience we had on arrival, when we were told we had to choose a package of either $18 or $35 US. The packages included admission to the sanctuary and either some chips and salsa, or a locker and snorkel and beer. Since we were traveling with children, we said were only wanted to see the sanctuary and swim briefly in the ocean. This caused some confusion and the guy at the front said we could enter for $8 per person. Then the owner came out and wasn’t very happy. She told us she wanted $18 per person, but since we were quoted $8 she’d have to let us in. $8 for 20 minutes was reasonable, $18 was not. Had they simply said, we’ll charge you $8 per person to visit the sanctuary or $15 to visit the sanctuary AND use our beach I’d have felt they were being reasonable. Finally they gave us *incorrect* change - not an uncommon experience when traveling, but it left a bad taste. Luckily the day was beautiful and the bay was stunning so we enjoyed ourselves anyway.
