About Patronato Pro Niños de San Miguel de Allende A.C.
English-speaking volunteers walk guests through San Miguel’s glorious past, showing them the city center and its historical buildings and churches. The tour takes approximately 2 ½ hours, covers a ten-block area, and is mostly level walking. It is a definite “must” for any visitor to San Miguel!
Regularly scheduled tours take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Groups meet in the Jardin across from the Parroquia (large church) at 9:45 AM, and leave at 10:00 AM. Donation: 300 pesos (cash)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I took the walking tour of San Miguel with your wonderful guide, Mamie Spiegel. We were thrilled with her presentation, which was both witty and informative . With her obvious love for her subject matter, Mrs. S is a lively and inspiring guide. We really liked the fact that the proceeds go toward providing health care for poor kids in the area and didn't mind a bit being hit up ( in the nicest, low -pressure way) for tip money to provide toothbrushes for the dental program. What a great experience on our vacation!
