Pena-Reyna Dental Care - 88810 Nuevo Progreso

My dental work I had done was total scammed!!! They were asked to do porcelain veneers and 3 Drs. kept pushing me toward titanium teeth, after I said ok, they said 9200.00 then they drilled 19 of my teeth down to where I needed 19 root canals because they exposed nerves in all the teeth they work on. They charged another 7000.00 for it. So much pain!!! Scammed, purposeful pain inflicted for more money in their pocket. The whole experience was horrifying for me!!! I’ll never use Pena-Reyna Dental again. VERY ABUSIVE DETISTRY!!!

Well, where do I start. This place save my life and my money. I was in Progreso for 5 days. I came to know about their clinic within 3 days I was getting ready to fly back to North Carolina. I had gone to Progresso to another dental clinic to get my procedure done , unfortunately I was not too happy that they were not going to finish all the work within the time I was going to there. I then met a lady who happen to work at Pene dental on my way to the hotel little did I know that she was Angel sent and was my answer at that time. To cut the story short, she gave me her number to call her for the appointment to get the rest of my dental work done. Her word was her word no lie I had 3 of my fill in done and 2 crown within 2 days. To top it off I didn't feel no pain. The Dr was so gentle and friendly he kept on asking if I was okay through out the whole procedures. Personally, I had a most wonderful experience in this place. I will never forget. This place really cares about customers satisfactions then money, the minutes you get in you are welcome with smile ...Which some places over there don't do. I love here.. I'd I'll definitely be back again and I will recommend it to friends and co workers also for anyone who's interested in getting his/ her dental work done. Thank you so much for all that you did for me. I love my teeth and I'm now pain free because of Pena Reyna Dental Care. God bless

Really good clinic. The staff is very nice and the doctor is very accommodating. If you bring a guest with you they get to enjoy drinking in the Gazebo for free. A lot of people like that they get to have free drinks while they are n the clinic. The prices are very reasonable, and the quality of the work worth the money you will pay.

I had extensive dental work done at a fraction of the cost . The doctor and staff were friendly and courteous. They had a comprehensive plan and explained the pros and cons.. And they had a contract explaining in detail..or money back guarantee.. I recommend this clinic Esteban U.S.M.C. veteran

WE don't know Coni Khat. You signed PAULA MORGAN & walked on your own into OUR OFFICE with LOTS of PAIN with pieces of teeth worn down to the nerve. We have xrays before & after of all your teeth? Why did you wait for us to finish your teeth & YOU smiled to our camera? Then you immediately Cancelled your check. You agreed to the work, we give you options & you chose that. You are the one that goes all over the country lying & cheating the government with your background record PAULA MORGAN & now Mexico! We have been there 26 years for someone like you to come to us & cheat our hard working dentists. IF YOU USE A BOGUS NAME WHAT CAN WE EXPECT of someone rotten like you.

Like most, I was looking for affordable dental work. I needed extensive work done, but even with insurance, I knew that it was going to be to expensive. I heard about affordable work being done in Progresso, Mexico so I researched it. I filled out a request and had lots of clinics reaching out to me, but only two called me. The first was not Pena Reyna. It was actually another dentists who quoted me about 700 bucks to have two bridges done and some crowns. I spoke with him and even made an appt, but then Irma from Pena Reyna reached out to me by phone. She spoke english really well since she is actually from San Antonio, and she sent me pics of before and afters and a pic of some crowns they had just made a client. After speaking to her, her husband called (owner of clinic) and explained that he could NOT give me an estimate because he wasn't sure how much actual work I was going to need. He said I needed an x-ray or recent dental records to know for sure, but assured me his prices were fair. So I decided to go there first, they did an x-ray, found out what I needed, gave me a price and explained everything in detail. The price was way more than I planned to spend... 5k to be exact, but I needed so much work, and I knew that. I ended up having about 6 root canals, two bridges, an extraction, about 10 porcelain crowns, and removal of silver filling which were replaced with white resin. In all reality, it was still so much cheaper than I would have payed anywhere in the U.S. and I just can't put a price on the worth of the work. The staff was nothing short of AMAZING. Irma met me in town, I followed her to the parking lot just outside of the border, and she walked in with me. She told me what to bring in advance, so I was prepared. The entire staff worked together like none ever. Because my visit was so short and I had lots of infection (hence the root canals), they gave me injections of antibiotics over the course of the few days I was there and even gave me some to take with me. I'm a nurse, so it's ok!! lol They checked up on me daily to make sure I got to my hotel safe, and even to make sure I got home safe, and that I was feeling ok. I mentioned that I still had pain on my left side of face and they quickly sent me more meds. I think they came in about 2 days. I can go on and on, but I think I have gotten my message across. The location is easy to get to, the staff was AMAZING, and the price was affordable and so worth it!! If your thinking of getting work done, be careful who you go with, it's true that you get what you pay for and I'm glad I didn't have to find that out the hard way. Good luck all!!!

I highly recommend Pena-Reyna Dental Care. My team was amazingly awesome and very professional. I would do it again in a heart beat, in fact I'm scheduled to return in June/July for two implants from past moler extractions. I had 24 zirconia crowns done for the fraction of the cost, compared to the states. Unbelievable!.. Monday the painless procedure began, and that day I left with temporary teeth. Returning the following Friday for my 24 permanent teeth & mouth guard for night wear. Everything is done in house and all work is guaranteed for life. Mr. Ruben Pena, owner was very attentive to all my questions & concerns months prior to my appointment and expressing genuine concerns my for safety while in Mexico, being I traveled alone. They went above an beyond in caring for me during my week stay. I had a blast. I've had NO problems whatsoever .... ONLY countless compliments, even there in Mexico and when I returned home.. People are in aww, saying Wow your smile is beautiful. I drove from Galveston Texas, parked state side and walked to their office within a block. Not to mention free Margaritas all day for customers the entire week I was there. I stayed at Palm Aire Hotel in Weslaco, five miles from the border for $50. a night. My experience was very gratifying not to mention rewarding. Also for my friend Kory G. who had 23 crowns done a year prior with Pena-Reyna Dental. His review is the same as mine, 100% satisfied.
