Un puesto de tacos de guisado y canasta con dos toldos y algunas mesas para comer en el lugar. Me llamó la atención así que decidí ir al día siguiente a la hora del desayuno. La experiencia fue exquisita! La propuesta es sencilla tacos de guisado, tacos de canasta y una variedad de salsas y aguas frescas deliciosas. Pedí taco de barbacoa, chilorio y tacos de canasta de chicharrón prensado y papá con queso. Todo increíblemente bueno. El servicio rápido y amable. El lugar perfectamente limpio y con buenas medidas de seguridad. Sin duda me convertiré en comensal habitual del lugar.
 I just moved to the city of Merida and walking near my house I found Penichef. A stew and basket taco stand with two awnings and some tables to eat on site. It caught my attention so I decided to go the next day for breakfast. The experience was exquisite! The proposal is simple stew tacos, basket tacos and a variety of delicious sauces and fresh waters. I ordered barbecue taco, chilorio and pressed pork rind and papa con queso basket tacos. All incredibly good. Fast and friendly service. The place perfectly clean and with good security measures. Without a doubt I will become a regular diner of the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Los tacos de guisado tienen mal sabor, el huevo con chorizo estaba dulce y aún no entiendo por qué. Lo unico rescatable son los tacos de canasta.
El servicio es muy lento.
The stew tacos have a bad taste, the egg with chorizo was sweet and I still don't understand why. The only salvageable thing is the basket tacos.
The service is very slow.

Lo que volvería a pedir el chilorio y el huevo con longaniza
Some stews are good but the tacos de canasta are not tacos de canasta they are hard and tasteless.
What I would order again the chilorio and the egg with longaniza

Great variety of tacos served plain and you can help yourself to a large variety of toppings/salsas. Great home-made fruit drinks as well. Will be going back for sure!
