Everything was great stayed in 16G planning on staying in the penthouse once they are finished ? Everything was just perfect.

Nice beach but gets better going further north away from where everyone bunch up and hang out unless you are there to people watch

We would never go back. I feel for the owners there because the maintenance is not being kept up. The owners do not have title and I believe the building is in receivership. The pool is falling apart. Mold and broken tiles and dirty. The rules apply only to certain people. The staff at the concession stand never smile. The atmosphere is terrible. The elevators rarely work. In the three months we were there, they were sporadic. The owners could reserve chairs at the pool but renters had to get up at 6 am to get a chair. The renters are treated as second class citizens. The sewer smell came up into our sinks in the kitchen and made me very sick for 8 weeks while we were there. There are no chairs on the beach to sit by the ocean. The management there needs to be changed as the environment he's creating is not acceptable. The only bright spot were the staff at the front desk who tried to make our stay pleasant. We have been going to Ixtapa since 2004 and consequently because of such a terrible experience we will not be returning to Ixtapa anytime in the future.

We rented a one bedroom condo for one week in December, the facilities are clean and the staff at the snack bar by the pool has really good food, the service from Rafael, Daniel and Diego was amazing. The property manager Dan was so easy to work with and very accommodating with our needs. The unit was full stocked with all the kitchen amenities you need with full appliances. We will definitely be back on our next visit.
