★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don Pedro de Alvarado a.k.a. "Tonatiuh" murio en (la tercer) Guadalajara,capital de la Nueva Galicia,que para 1541 estaba asentada en Tacotlan, a donde fue trasladado mal herido al ser aplastado por un caballo en el Peñol de Nochistlan, identificado en el cerro del Tuiche.
Don Pedro de Alvarado a.k.a. "Tonatiuh" died in (the third) Guadalajara, the capital of Nueva Galicia, which by 1541 was based in Tacotlan, where he was transferred badly wounded when he was crushed by a horse in the Peñol de Nochistlan, identified in the Tuiche hill.
