PERSONAL BUSINESS PROTECTION DOGS - 58341 Morelia

Hello my name is Zaira and I love dogs but I have never had a protection dog before. 4 years ago one of my dogs died suddenly and that altered our emotional environment in a very drastic way. My other dog, a Doberman female, became very protective but at the same time fearful and intense and that generated a lot of lack of control in our walks. At the same time I moved to live on the outskirts of the city in the middle of the forest and that was when my friend Caleb from Business Protection Dogs recommended that I should include a protection dog in my family. Dracula a German Shepherd sable was the one we chose to be the new member, he was already trained and immediately adapted to our environment. Dracula is a very balanced and super tolerant dog with the intensity of my Doberman. I also have a little 13 year old yorkie whom Dracula has a lot of respect for. Dracula is a very imposing dog but at the same time extremely loving, but when he has to work taking care of us, he assumes his role very well. With him I feel very safe and I feel safe at home. We train from time to time, he is always on my lookout. Dracula brought into our lives the balance we needed and we love him deeply. And besides everything he is very handsome! We, a retired couple, adopted Aleida a beautiful female Belgian Shepard Malinois from a university student that was overwhelmed by raising a dog, going to school and working. The previous owner allowed Aleida to walk off leash and she was trained to stay on the curb until released by command. We thought that behavior was great! However, after we adopted Aleida, she became increasingly aggressive with other dogs, little children, bikes, skateboarders and strollers when on leash. Hiking in the mountains became difficult because she would run off into the woods or farm fields chasing cows and horses and not come back. We knew we did not have the skill to change Aleida’s behavior. We found and hired Personal Business Protection Dogs seeking help to train Aleida. Caleb, owner and trainer, worked with us to fully understand the breed and her particular personality and motivation. We met for an initial meeting / evaluation and then continued to meet weekly for six weeks. We learned how to give Aleida a better life by walking on leash by our side in the streets and accepting the fast passing bicycles and noisy skateboarders. Aleida learned that little children were not dogs to play with but humans to be respected. In the mountains Aleida is now able to walk off leash with quite a “pack” consisting of 12 humans and four additional dogs. She is able to “come” when called, and “leave” cows, horses, and litter when directed. The staff at Personal Business Protection Dogs showed us the way to influence and train Aleida.

We acquired a protection dog from Caleb at the end of 2020 . She is a beautiful Belgian Malinois , her name is "Mirai". . Caleb has taught her an amazing amount of protection skills in addition to obedience. She has been with us for over a half year and has become a valued family member. We have a home in Morelia Mexico, that is where first met Caleb. He helped us with our American Eskimo "Mika" who needed some obedience training. It was in Morelia where we first met Caleb, his staff and several of his highly train protection dogs. We were very impressed with his operation. When we were in the USA we called Caleb looking to acquire another dog. He provided us with some some videos and we decided to get Mirai.. Mirai is absolutely wonderful protection dog.
