PetChalet - 97306 Mérida

So far they have taken very good care of a neurotic dog Mom. I am excited for my babies to experience day care and then bording at this facility!!

My cat had a great vacation at the Pet Chalet in her own cat condo with adjoining outdoor adventure space. This is an exceptional facility, intelligently designed, equipped, and managed to provide a broad range of services.

We left our nine month old kitten at Pet Chalet for four days. Our cat was fighting common parasites, but he was on antibiotics and our vet works with Pet Chalet regularly, and he was eating, drinking, and had no symptoms other than diarrhea. We gave Pet Chalet the meds, warned them about possible dehydration, and ensured they had our vet's contact information. We were scheduled to pick up the cat on Tuesday. On Monday morning, we received a call that he had been taken to the vet for treatment. We didn't hear any updates from Pet Chalet for the rest of the day, despite calling and texting them. We reached out veterinarian that night, who confirmed that cat was there and said Pet Chalet should have called him two days earlier. Our cat passed away on Wednesday. The vet was unable to stabilize. Because Pet Chalet acted slowly and did not keep us informed, we'll never know what happened or if he could have been saved with earlier intervention. I might not have posted this review, except for one thing. I emailed Pet Chalet the day after our kitten died, to let them know and to ask them to reevaluate their cat care and training. More than a week later, they have not emailed me back, even to acknowledge our loss or express sympathy. Do not use Pet Chalet.

Have only tried the day pass for our boxer. Really professional and nice. Booking a week for her and will give updates if it doesn't live up to its 5 stars recommendation.

Wonderful experience. We have boarded our cats there twice and they are scheduled for another "vacation" in August. The staff is very helpful, English speaking, and animals lovers. The pet accomodations are ample and roomy. They were vigilant about keeping us updated and informed about our cats and how they were doing while we were away. One of our cats is old and this was her first boarding experience as she usually travels with us. The first stay Kali refused to eat in the beginning, but Pet Chalets on premisses Vet kept her hydrated and on special vitamins until she began to eat again. The second stay Kali was fine and adjusted well. We also adopted a third cat from them as they have many cats and kittens for adoption there. I highly recommend Pet Chalet for your boarding your pets while on vacation.

Nice place, good service, but there are lots of nice places in Mexico to board a pet and have veterinary care. The prices are ridiculous! Someone wrote that the prices are less than the U.S. and what has that got to do with anything? I have been in Mexico many years and have used different vets and boarding for my dog, all excellent. The prices for both vet and boarding are double and then they add 3% to pay with a card.

If you are looking for a place to board your pets, they are one of the best choices in Merida. They keep improving every time we board our 2 dogs. Communication has improved with photos, videos and feedback as to how your pets are doing while they are there. They do a good job socializing your dogs with others as well. After boarding, they even follow up with informative links as to what to expect your animals behavior will be upon returning from boarding. Great place to be a dog!

This is exactly what I was looking for, very happy I decided to do a visit. Very helpful staff, clean and caring environment. Lots of space, beautiful setting and relaxed atmosphere for my gatitos.
