★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gem of a place! Lavanda has less seats and is packed, the food here is just as good but more of 'french' twist. We only had breakfast which was phenomenal (the chef came out to chat!) - very rich & refined quality. The menu is simple. If it'd had more time in SMDA, I'd come back for other meals too. The space is lovely and charming with high ceilings & art & quiet.

I was looking for a quiet place where I can work and have coffee, and it was a nice place for that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Petit Four rates a rock solid five stars in all but service, which was rather impersonal and hurried, thus qualifying for only four, rather than five stars. The flavor and presentation of everything we had was sterling, as is the ambience of this delightful establishment. The fresh grapefruit juice was fantastic, too.
